Bioshock

So last year I bought an Xbox 360 off of Ebay on a whim. It was like 300 bucks for 4 controllers, the console and I think about 9 games. Pretty good deal. Ive played it on and off. Only really bought a couple of games for it. Then for the last few weeks I've been feeling restless and asked my friend Xander for some suggestions. And he gave me Bioshock and Mass Effect.
So I happened to be in Best Buy, killing time, so I picked up both for fifty bucks. (I'm pretty cheap when it comes to this stuff, I can't reconcile spending $60 on a new game when that could fill my gas tank twice.)
So I went home and popped in Mass Effect. I liked the fact that you could customize characters and that the decisions you made in game play changed the plot. But the game was really stiff and the plot was boring. I gave it up. Waste of money.
Then I was sitting around and bored of Jon and Kate plus 8. So I turned in Bioshock. Wow. The intro was awesome, controls were great. And the story was so much better. Such a great game. Very cinematically beautiful. If you haven't played it, I suggest you do.
